JUSTIN Bieber has been saved from a teenaged stage invader by Australia's Got Talent judge Brian McFadden.

Amilia Radevska, 14, rushed the stage at the end of Bieber's performance on the Channel 7 TV show.

McFadden crash-tackled the girl, who evaded the increased security hired for the global pop star's performance.

Radevska kicked and screamed "stop it Brian" before being restrained.

"I was looking around and saw a crack in security and thought 'Now or never," Radevska panted.

"He told me he loved me and it was all ok before I was dragged away."

The incident happened as Bieber was being interviewed by host Grant Denyer after his performance.

It is unclear whether the footage will make the cut when the AGT grand final airs on Wednesday night.

Bieber arrived at the Melbourne Dockland's Central City Studio eating McDonalds around 1pm for the TV show's pre-recording.

Around 1000 fans had waited outside the studio, while 800 tickets had been given away through radio competitions.

During his six-minute performance of a medley of singles, Bieber also serenaded judge Dannii Minogue.

Judge Kyle Sandilands claimed after the show that Bieber told him he had sprained his ankle during the performance.

The Canadian teen has driven female fans to hysteria since a sneaky arrival in Melbourne on Sunday morning.

His location - the Olsen Hotel - was leaked by Beliebers on Twitter, who soon besieged the South Yarra establishment.

Despite having no public appearance in Melbourne, Bieber signed autographs and posed for photos while leaving the Olsen and Australia's Got Talent.

However, his crafty minders managed to get Bieber out of the hotel several times.

Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez were given a private tour of Melbourne Aquarium after closing hours on Sunday night.

The loved-up pair also made a flying visit to St Kilda hotspot the Barkly. The teenager is legally able to drink in Australia.

Bieber ordered a Heineken but left the venue after five minutes, leaving an untouched beer as a souvenir for bar staff.

A presumably jetlagged Bieber confused fans with a string of random tweets in the wee hours of Sunday night.

They ran from "Just met some good looking fans outside the hotel. "how u doin" -joeys voice #friends to "Class is key ladies. Guys like classy girls."

At midday, Bieber posed for photos on the rooftop at radio network Austereo in South Melbourne before recording an interview with Fifi Box.

Anyone interviewing the star has to provide their questions to his handlers in advance and off-limits topics include Gomez, lawsuits or his run ins with the paparazzi.
