Imitation is a form of flattery, and even though Victoria Justice is in many ways different than Selena Gomez, the comparisons between the two still have a tendency to float around out there in the media.
So what does the star of Nickelodeon's "Victorious" have to say about all of this? Speaking as a part of a new interview with Marie Claire, Justice does her best to say that the talk really does not bother her too much.
"It doesn't bother me at all. I'm supposed to be where I am. At the end of the day, we're both very different and just finding our way in this industry."
So why do these comparisons exist? It's simple: both Selena and Victoria got their start as a part of a children's TV network, and they have also been able to leverage this into some other gigs and a music careers. They both still have their own talent and their own voice, though, and should be able to leverage this into other things.
